Dr. Farzad Pakdel

Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Farzad Pakdel has been working as a plastic and aesthetic surgeon, specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, since (2009). Since (2013), Dr. Pakdel has been practicing at Rasoul Akram Hospital and in private practice at the Central Clinic, working full-time at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Farabi Eye Hospital. Prior to that, he was engaged in academic and private sectors in ophthalmology since (2002), accumulating a rich resume.

Academic education

Graduated with a specialty in ophthalmology from Iran University of Medical Sciences in (2002).
Subspecialized in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery from Iran University of Medical Sciences from (2008-2010)
Completed a fellowship in orbital and oculoplastic surgery focusing on thyroid eye diseases at Academisch Medical Center hospital (AMC) in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2010.
Completed additional courses in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at UCLA and USC Eyeaethetica Center in 2012.

Professional Experience and Research

Dr. Farzad Pakdel is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon based in Tehran, specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery since (2009). His surgical expertise encompasses procedures related to the upper face, orbits, and eyelids. He collaborates both at Iran University of Medical Sciences and in private practice. Since (2012), he has been affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences at Farabi Eye Hospital. Before that, he had engagements in both academic and private sectors since (2002).
